A PATH TO SUCCESS FOR EVERY CHILD

From Year 1, our supportive education programme gives every child the right level of challenge and care. With three pathways, we adapt learning to fit your child’s strengths and needs. While pathways are distinct, some children may move between them when it best supports their growth. No matter their journey, your child will flourish with the right support.

Pathway 1
The majority of our students follow Pathway 1 based on the English National Curriculum through to International/General Certificate of Secondary Education (I/GCSEs) and then the IBDP or IB courses. Learning takes place in a supportive classroom, where teachers personalise lessons to both challenge and encourage each child. If short-term help is needed, our Learning Support teams step in with tailored guidance. Students learning English as an Additional Language are also cared for through a specialised, intensive English curriculum, ensuring they feel confident to succeed across all subjects.

Pathway 2
Pathway 2 follows the English National Curriculum, with extra support to help every child thrive. Each student has an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and learns in a small class of 10 with a teacher and teaching assistant. Students join Pathway 1 peers for non-academic subjects to enable students to learn and socialise with their wider peer group, whilst receiving support to move to greater independence in other subjects. As and when appropriate, students will integrate into specific Pathway 1 classes, providing a uniquely personalised learning experience for each student. Pathway 2 students pursue IGCSEs, IB courses, or vocational options such as BTEC.
