Mr. David Slade is a passionate and experienced international educator with over 20 years of leadership in British and global curriculum schools across Asia and the Middle East. As Head of Secondary, he brings energy, innovation, and a deep commitment to student success and wellbeing.
David has led transformative initiatives in curriculum development, pastoral care, and professional growth. He introduced forward-thinking subjects like AI and Global Citizenship, expanded Sixth Form enrolment, and enhanced student readiness through the Super Curricula and Skills for Success programmes.
He holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of London, a PGCE in Chemistry, a Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Bath, UK and an Associate Degree in Natural Science from Brigham Young University, Idaho, USA. He is also a certified coach, safeguarding lead, and COBIS Accredited Peer Partner.
Outside the classroom, David enjoys staying active through ultimate frisbee, hiking, mountain biking, and has even been known to play a competitive game of netball. His approachable leadership and enthusiasm for lifelong learning help foster a culture of excellence, care, and global connectedness.
