Nathaniel is delighted to be returning to BSG and to once again call Guangzhou and China, home. He studied Music at the University of Surrey and has since built a dynamic career as both a teacher and performer.
He has taught at several of London’s top preparatory schools, including Wetherby Prep, Glendower Prep, and Cumnor House, as well as for respected music services such as Berkshire Maestros and Wandsworth Music. He is particularly inspired by BSG’s partnership with Juilliard, and enjoys helping students connect with music through a rich, diverse, and internationally informed curriculum.
Alongside his teaching, Nathaniel is an active professional musician. He has toured internationally with the renowned boys’ choir, Libera, performing in the United States, South Korea, Russia, Ireland, the Philippines, and Spain, and has recorded multiple albums with them. He, along with Mr Rodwell, is also a founding member of Stratus, a Londonbased piano trio recently featured on a BBC Christmas special, watched by nearly 20 million viewers.
Nathaniel performs professionally on the piano, viola, and violin, and enjoys playing a wide range of other instruments for fun. Outside of music, he has a love of languages and travel, and is excited to return to China with fresh eyes and a long list of places to explore.
