Teigan Thompson

Teigan holds a BA (Hons) in Early Years Education and a PGCE in Primary Education with a Physical Education specialism from Edge Hill University. She has also begin her master’s in Early Years Education at North Wales Management School, Wrexham Glyndwr University in January 2025.

Her teaching journey began in Southport, UK, where she taught Year One for a year and a half. She then spent two years in Fuzhou, teaching both Reception and Year One. Teigan is now in her fourth-year teaching Year One at BSG, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a passion for nurturing young learners.

Beyond the classroom, Teigan enjoys running, painting, reading, travelling, and exploring different cultures. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that play is both meaningful and socially interactive. She values play as a way for children to make sense of the world, connect new learning to prior experiences, practice skills, explore possibilities, and embrace challenges—fostering deeper and more joyful learning.
