After 12 successful years on the Lower East Side, our tradition of educational excellence can now be found in the lovely Gramercy neighborhood.

Since its opening in 2011, NAISNY has offered an ambitious academic program within a nurturing and inclusive environment, preparing students to excel in the best high schools worldwide.

Our innovative curricula foster independent learning and critical thinking, equipping students with the skills needed to make positive changes in the world. Our welcoming and diverse community, representing 50% international and 50% local families, thrives on connections formed through various parent-led activities and school-organized events. A DAY IN OUR NEW HOME

  • Arriving at school: Students come ready for the day by taking the 6, N/W, F/M, or PATH trains, riding the DOT school bus, or even scootering to school.

 

  • Morning learning: Students begin the day with phonics or math to build strong academic foundations.

 

  • Walk to break: Time to recharge at Madison Square Park, where we find fresh air and outdoor play just four blocks away.

 

  • Specialist lessons: Dance, drama, music, PE, Spanish, and art taught by specialist teachers bring creativity and movement to the day.

 

  • Healthy lunch: A revamped menu offers new nutritious and delicious options that students love.

 

  • Afternoon break: Children step outside as part of the NYC Open Streets program, enjoying safe play and exploration right in front of school.

 

  • After school clubs: Learning and fun continue with a wide variety of enrichment opportunities, including construction, Taekwondo, or singing club.
