SPORTS AND ATHLETICS

Physical Education is an important part of life at NAISNY. Younger students develop fundamental athletic skills through fun activities, while older students focus on teamwork, strategy, and building confidence through a variety of sports.

All NAISNY students have scheduled times each week to participate in Physical Education (PE) with our specialist teachers.

Early Years students explore movement through tumbling mats, obstacle courses, and activities that develop hand-eye coordination. Lower School students enjoy structured games, practicing throwing, catching, and the fundamentals of sports like soccer and basketball. Upper School students focus on fitness, teamwork, and sport-specific skills, traveling to offsite facilities to refine abilities such as volleyball serving, soccer dribbling, and more.

After school, students can extend their learning through Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs), often led by expert coaches. This year’s offerings include Taekwondo, tennis, ballet, running club, basketball, and multi-sports, giving students the opportunity to pursue their favorite sports and develop specialized skills in weekly sessions.
